Lagoon's X-Venture zone is a collection of low capacity, extreme thrill rides designed for the most intense ride you can get. These are the rides most people pass up because they cost extra cash to ride, but if you haven't taken the opportunity to ride one of these rides, you're really missing out!

The X-Venture Zone was created in 2000 when Lagoon added their go-karts, Double Thunder Raceway, to their rides collection. The new go-kart tracks were built next to the Top Eliminator dragsters and extended over to the area where Skycoaster stands, and in essence connecting all 3 of Lagoons pay rides together. Tthat area of the park then got the name "X-Venture Zone".

One other attraction, Peak Exposure, was added to the X-Venture collection in 1999, but this attraction isn't located near the others. The idea was to test how well Peak did with park guests and then eventually move it to the north end near the other X-Venture rides. Nobody knows why it hasnt moved, but it still sits in the old Skeeball South (exit of Roller Coaster) area.

As I said above, if you have not decided to pay extra to try one of these rides then you're really missing out. I encourage everyone to save up a little and try one out. The rides are the most intense, fastest, and are sure to give a pure adrenaline boost when you ride them. You will not regret riding in the X-Venture Zone!
